Okay. I loved this fucking movie. It wasn't profound or anything. It was just insanely entertaining. This movie goes in the same category as Shoot Em Up. Fucking Awesome. One of the bloodier movies I've ever seen (Bloodiest still goes to DeadAlive/Braindead obviously :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:), and it was just like.... really fucking awesome. I don't know how else to put it xD Plus, Bi-Rain is like really hot in this movie. xD

The quality of this film will be greatly overshadowed by the amazingness of the book. It doesn't make sense to me. It's Martin Scorsese. He's one of my favorite actors. The cast is great, its based on an absolutely amazing book. I don't really understand how it didn't work (at least in my opinion). Like. It wasn't a bad movie at all. It was good. I dunno.

I definitely absolutely loved the book. The movie? not so much. The fact I don't like it that much makes me sad though.

When I saw the forum I was like "Last movie I watched...'Shutter Island'"...OMG!!!! Psychic!" But I just watched it, like 10 minutes ago I finished...and...me don't likey. The cinematography and direction, amazing, the acting (especially from Patricia Clarkson in my opinion), fantastic...the movie's story...blerg (but from what I hear the book's stellar)- I don't like films where I have to guess what's the TRUE ending and what's made-up (except "Doubt", that was a good movie...ahhh, Meryl)

First off. Doubt is fucking amazing.

Secondly, I felt that the movie kind of forced one way of thinking on you. It DIDN'T give you the mindfuck that the book did. I dunno.

It was the first time i've ever seen it. I really liked it, even though the end made me want to cry. I'm gonna have "Five hundred, twenty five thousand, six hundred minutes" stuck in my head for a loooong time now xD

Time Burton's re-imagining of "Alice in Wonderland".

Tim Burton is in my top two favourite directors but I was a tad disappointed. My favourite part of the entire movie is when Alice falls through the rabbit hole because being 3D you feel like it's you as well, and Alice being one of the most beloved literary characters in history (and one of the most beloved in my childhood) part-taking in one of the most iconic scenes WITH Alice, I won't lie a tear welled up in my eye LOL!

My other favourite part is when Alice is told by the Caterpillar of her last adventure in Wonderland and we see it as it happened in the book and again tear, tear...LMAO! I'm a manly however VERY sensitive man! Sue me!!! LOL!

BUT I did not appreciate, Mr. Burton, the moat of the severed heads and the unnecessary eye gouging! Like, wtf? LOL! And did you really have to [EXTREMELY MINUSCULE SPOILER] have the Queen kill the gentile King of Hearts and have his head floating in the moat as well? [END OF EXTREMELY MINUSCULE SPOILER].

I'm just saying Burton, DON'T YOU EVEN DARE THINK ABOUT TOUCHING "The Wizard of Oz"- That's MINE to make!
