You're in a Talent Show...

Uhm, I'll take a cute volunteer from the audience, next, I'll make a sausage disappear ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

I volunteer to be someone's back-up clarinetist or pianist (if given enough time to practice I could do it, I'm sure I'm rusty...). Other than that... I guess if I had to pick something to do while standing in front of people I'd read my poetry? :S

 

I'd do a piano solo. I compose so it would be one of my own.

 

I'd probably do some kind of speed art or I might do some kind of freelance motivational speech. Not sure if that last one would be allowed, but if it where, I'd give it a shot.

 

Singing because that's the only thing I'm remotely good at

 

I would recite poetry out loud in a dramatic fashion using my voice acting skills.

 

I would play my ukulele.

 

I'd run backstage and hide. Or ask someone to read a story that I wrote, then hide. I don't do stages :icon_eek:

 

I'd do a sand speed art.

 

Trust me on that one, it isn't easy! :lol: I used to volunteer at a no-kill cat shelter and I would sometimes end up herding cats (and sometimes kittens too). I once had to herd five kittens back into their pen at once! That was tough.

If my nightmares have taught me anything, I'm totally prepared for this situation! Oh wait... it always ends up going badly. Never mind then!

 

Play guitar. Dunno what. Maybe radiohead or chuck berry or Led Zeppelin or R.L burnside or bruce springsteen or sommin' and sing. Maybe. Either that or just play an E and scream 'yeah!' Really loudly for 30 seconds and then walk off.

 

Playing the guitar or bass? I guess if I can get together a few other people to play drums and other instruments we can do band covers of stuff.

I'd prefer backstage. Preferably the guy who opens and closes the curtain.

I mean I would never win, or take it seriously. But if I was in a talent show for fun I would be the best dang ribbon dancer anyone has even seen.

Well realistically, I would cry and run off the stage, but in a universe where stage fright doesn't exist, I would pick stuff up with my feet and write with my toes, and just generally showcase my talented tootsies.
