    I voted for Margaret Cho, but I also like some comedians who weren't listed- such as Gabriel Iglesias, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Izzard (although he trans, I think?) and Seth McFarlane (although he doesn't do too much stand-up- I love his sense of humor, though).

    I love Chappelle! But how is he not gay friendly?? He often works with and seems to be close friends with with Guillermo Diaz who is openly gay. Diaz played Scarface in Half Baked... who woulda thought? :slight_smile:

    Moving on... I only comedians I ever got into were George Carlin, Dave Chappelle, and Louis C.K.

    Carlin is great at making me re-evaluate norms, Chappelle is just plain funny and good at poking fun at (mostly racial) stereotypes, and Louis C.K. just tells stories from his life that are always made to be really damn funny. Louis C.K. also has a good bit on why he doesn't get homophobes.

    None of the above but I agree that George Carlin is pretty amazing. I find he gets a bit preachy sometimes.

    I also think Jerry Seinfeld is funny.
