Probably youngs of today are preparing to list their favorite i-gadgets but I am asking about these apple ->

Since I decided to get back in shape, apple become more important source for snacks and usually my only sweet option.

My current favorite is Fuji. Also love Red Delicious and Granny Smith.

You know some people in here eat those green apples with salt... I tried and didn't like it.

So what is your favorite apple?

    Honeycrisp, tart???

A good honeycrisp is the best apple variety I have had. Fuji comes in second though and was my long time favorite before I was introduced to honeycrisp, but a good fuji can beat a mediocre honeycrisp. I still eat a lot of fuji because they are cheaper and more available than honeycrisp.

Interestingly, I don't really like granny smith at all but pink lady is pretty good when I'm in the mood for something sour and they are very pretty to look at.

I despise gala because my dad always buys it and they are just never very good... not very crunchy! Why would anyone buy gala when fuji is just as easily available?? Boggles my mind!

As you can see I really like apples. I have 3 (small, for now) apple trees, but I have to work with the weather here in southern California, so I have Anna (doesn't ship well, so not in stores; not very tasty...), Dorset Golden (actually pretty good!), and Fuji (which doesn't seem to love the environment and is kinda pushing it growing it here and isn't as prolific but the best fuji apples I have ever tasted have come from that tree!).

Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, Pink Lady, Cameo, and Braeburn.

I prefer appled that are crisp as opposed to "sandy" and "grainy." I strongly dislike Red Delicious and Golden Delicious.

I also like apples to be chilled.

Yes! I thought I was the only one! This is also why I don't like pears... they tend to be grainy T.T

Granny Smith forever <3 I love the tart bite <3

We've got about a dozen apple trees, I know two are Bramley which are only for cooking. No idea what the others are!

Well I just eat the apples my mother and father buys and I don't know what they are honestly. But I would say Mangoes are sweet and so much better than apples.

I usually go for Red Delicious. When they're not available, McIntosh.

I loathe Delicious and McIntosh apples...living in apple country in upstate New York, we are sometime called "apple knockers"...I like Empires, which I didn't see, Granny Smith's, and Pink Ladys.

I'm not particularly fussy when it comes to apples, but I do quite like Red Delicious.

Where possible, I try to support English apple growers and buy home grown - Cox's Orange Pippin is one of my favourite varieties. Like AlamoCity, I prefer apples to be slightly chilled.

Some people in Somerset, England would argue that the best apples go into Cider.
