    Beatles + U2 (yeah, I'm old)

  3. I like Catie Curtis and Sarah Bettens at the minute. Not usually into country, but I think that's what Catie Curtis's music is mostly.
Sarah Bettens has this husky voice that for some reason I really love…

    2? Only 2 choices?
Well, I'll break that rule slightly:
First favorite right now is Rise Against
Also Anti-Flag but I like Rise Against's lyrics a bit more
    Older Green Day, Bad Religion
    Black Veil Brides
Tokio Hotel--German band most people in the US have never heard of
    Enter Shikari

Two staple favourite bands for me: The Beatles and Muse. I like the later Beatles albums the most (though Let It Be is not anywhere as a favourite; but maybe that's because I only listened to the version no one likes rather than Let It Be Naked), while my opinion of Muse is starting to waver (The Resistance has about 2 or 3 good tracks, but is otherwise on the bland side, while The 2nd Law takes many risks with some hits and some misses... and then there is the last two tracks. Oh boy.)

Two bands/artists I am listening to quite a bit recently: Oh No Ono and Nobuo Uematsu. Oh No Ono's first album reminds me quite a bit of 1980's new wave (I have a love/hate relationship with 80's music), while Eggs, their second album, is arguably their best album ever created in modern music (I'm sure the entire album is an operatic story). As for Nobuo Uematsu, his music is amazing (except for most of his music in Final Fantasies II and VIII in my opinion), even if I have yet to complete a Final Fantasy game other than II.

  8. I'm rather old fashioned but if I had to pick two I would go with The Carpenters and Barbra Streisand

Since you're looking for recommendations I'll try to avoid repeats and offer up Parliament/Funkadelic (they're basically the same band) and Pavement, a current fave of mine.

Oh gawd this is a tough choice. Well, I'm going to have to go with Birthday Massacre and Within Temptation.

Ironically I once dated the younger sister of one of My Chemical Romances girlfriends. Her parents got free concert tickets and CDs. I don't remember her older sisters first name, but her last name was Morthland. This was way back in 2005 though, so I'm not sure if they stayed together or not. :\

Rush and Pink Floyd. After that is Yes, King Crimson, The Beatles, Genesis, and Led Zeppelin. And then there is Shpongle, which has some special weird place for when I want to listen to crazy experimental electronic music, I don't really know where I'd put them on a favorites list.

For bands I cant honestly choose between One Direction, (cause a bit of cheese is my favourite thing :icon_cool) or Fun.
Favourite singer just has to be Pink, love her.

Austra and iamamiwhoami. My favorite songs from Austra: What We Done?, Painful Like and Beat and The Pulse. iamamiwhoami: O, T, Y and Idle Talk. They are a mix of Elecropop/Dreampop/Synthpop. If someone listen to them and likes them, send me a message!. It would be nice to talk about them with anyone else than my friends XD
