Okay, so I need a little bit of help. My Xbox was sent in for repair, because the video would never display on my TV. So, since it was still under warranty, it didn't cost me anything to get it repaired. When I got the console back from Microsoft (in about a week - really fast!), it came with an apologetic letter, affixed was a one month membership to Xbox live, "for any inconveniences caused." Now, how does this whole Xbox Live thing work? How do I connect the Xbox to the internet? I've only ever played one player or split screen. Thanks, in advance
step 1 - plug your internet cord into your xbox step 2 - play a game that has "xbox live compatible" on the cover step 3 - go on xbox live with that game, create an account etc step 4 - play against other people! (i think)
Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner! In other words, Micah is pretty much right. (Well, I think he is, since I had an Xbox myself and I think that's how I connected to the internet too.....) So get your Xbox connected, get on Xbox Live, and play with or against people all over the world!
So that's with any regular phone cable? I don't need to go out and buy a specially made Xbox one? lol
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/connecttolive/xbox/connectionmethods/routerconnection.htm thats if you want to share it with your computer connection too. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/connecttolive/xbox/connectionmethods/directconnection.htm Thats if you want to go straight from the "wall" into your xbox.
Sweet thanks! Now I've got something to do when I'm bored at home with no school and nothing to study lol
