Fall Out Boy's Dance Dance was Rejected by Kidz Bop for being too sexual. It says the word bed in it! It is practically pornographic!

Anyways! The song they replaced it with was.... You're Beautiful by James Blunt... Yes... no more sex for kids! Instead love those you can't have and commit suicide because of it!

I HATE a lot of the music from my generation: Classic Rock. Boston makes my skin crawl.

I once was in a house where we had an old fashioned record player and they played the "Admiral Halsey" side of "Ram" by McCartney, the "Statesboro Blues" side of "Allman Brothers Live(an album I actually DID love once)" and the "Maggie Mae" side of "Every Picture tells a Story" by Rod Stewart. To this day I have to leave the room if any of those come on.

 

I've gotta agree with you on that one Jerr... I change the radio station within a split second once that song starts playing.

Another one to the list... Barbie Girl by AQUA

 

Definitely the macarena by Los del Rio...everytime i hear that song it just drives me up the wall

(I really shouldn't say that - I haven't been there. But a mate of mine did spend 2 years working in in Little Rock - and he did say it was rather...different...(at least from Auckland, which is where he was from).

Sorry Jerr - but I was going to paste a YouTube of Achy Breaky Heart as my personal "worst ever" pick - but plenty of others had beaten me to that nomination.

If I had to go for something else - well, actually, quite a lot come to mind - but a couple that would be well up there (going back a long way - well, I AM an old fart)...
"I'm too sexy" - Right Said Fred (God, why did anyone EVER buy that? -total crap) and
"Tie a Yellow Ribbon" (Tony Orlando?) - the ultimate 'cringe' material...(Paul probably likes it tho'...)

Jim Steinman was best known for writing and producing huge epics for Meatloaf. I don't think Jim could write a pleasant pop song if he tried - everything he does ends up being a huge, long, heavy "work" with every instrument in the world laid on. It worked fine with Bonnie Tyler ("Total Eclipse of the Heart") and Air Supply ("Making Love Out of Nothing at All"), but then he teamed up with Celine Dion, an artist who has always had a bit of trouble when it comes to the word "subtle".

End result? "It's All Coming Back to Me Now". Absolutely everthing about that song is pushed past 11. It's overwrought, overplayed, oversung, and WAY overlong. To me, enduring that song is like having a gang of elves pummel me with sticks for seven minutes and thirty-seven seconds. It's painful to start out with, but by the sixth minute of pummeling, my entire body has pretty much gone numb.

I hate "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavinge. I can't agree more with the people who dislike "My Humps". My school plays that song at every school dance we have. Yet, they try and encourage abstinence..hmmmm.. Also, "Low" by Flo Rida ft. T-Pain. Come on people! He's just singing the word 'low' down a scale! It's not that exciting! If I wanted to listen to scales, I'd sneak a recording device into my band class!
