ok my eyes are dodgy got lazy eye in both eyes and i found out i have to be able to read from 20.5 m away, it sounds quite far anyone got anything?
Get glasses? There's really no other way to do it. You MUST be able to read a number plate from 20.5 metres, with glasses if necessary, otherwise your eyes aren't at a safe enough standard to drive.
hi.yeah, goto the optician for a test.If you can't see to well ,you put yourself and others on the road in danger. Don' try and dodge the test by memorising number plates..it's not worth it.
l'd suggest getting thee to a doctor. l can't imagine how that must feel. l had a lazy eye as a young kid and had double vision, l was operated on but they can also give you glasses to help.
already got glasses, my eyes can be ok depending on if i'm tired i'm going to practice tomorrow when its light out, dad says he will help (says it is really not far) like from our sofa to the pavement out side, i found that from the kitchen its about 10m so i SHOULD be ok. i can get numbers and letters mixed up, have dyslexia i am so not lucky...
this is the thing, l had mine fixed but l suspect it's just the wiring in my brain that causes it anyway which sometimes happens disorders like dyslexia. So now even mine get a little wonky depending on strain, fatigue, etc because my brain is obviously still wired the same way. but l'm usually fine. l suggest good sleep and maybe trying visual exercises in the meantime.
yeah ive got a few months (about 2...maybe 1.5 or less) but i'm a stubborn bitch and wont give up easily, bet i'll be alright but still....i worry too much
I had problems with my eyesight so I had an eye test at specsavers did need glasses for long distance concentration as for learning to drive and stupid exam well I got there .
Get glasses! You don't have to wear them all the time, just when you're driving, if you don't want to
