why "normal" people dont like gay people?

Well, 'till all is accomplished' is rather vague and could mean his resurrection or it could very well mean his second coming, sadly the passage doesn't specify. However, I do agree that the spirit of the Bible is important, as you said, and that worrying about the specifics is the entirely wrong way to go about reading it. This will inevitably create some disagreement in different areas, but the main lessons of peace and respect are easy enough for anyone to identify. If only more Christians attempted to understand the spirit of the Bible instead of trying to reinstitute antiquated laws then we wouldn't have so much contention over these issues today.
