Why Aren't Gay Movies More Popular?

    For me, Most Gay themed movies suck with the exception of a few. Shelter being one, Beautiful Thing, Boy Culture, Summer Storm and Latter Days. Most others tend to be so very depressing, I swear, either one of the gay characters or the only gay character dies, or the whole movie is about AIDS (I am sympathetic but I don't like whole movies about diseases in general), or the or the gay couple end up split up, or is a musical or last but not least the movie is just plain weird and doesn't make an ounce of sense. I'm sorry but I enjoy a good happy ending with, a movie like Pretty Woman (one of my favorite romances)
