I'm a linguaphile, so I'm really obsessed with all accents and languages, but I do have quite a few that have stuck out for me.

The Swedish accent and some Deaf accents are really cute.

I really love slavic/eastern euro accents, so Russian, Polish, Transylvanian, and Czech are my favorite internationals; the accents and languages. I'm also a fan of Dublin Irish, Manchester (Manchurian or Manc?), South London (bruv is the funniest/coolest slang word I've learned so far this year), Scottish, and Romanian accents. --I love how the sentence is practically all UK, then the last one just jumps across the globe.

My favorite regional accents are my own--Detroit/Michigander, New Orleans, and Kentucky (Boyd in Justified makes me eek when he speaks.)

I LOVE an Australian accent. I also really like British and Swedish accents as well.

All of them pretty much, except for southern us. I am a sucker for a guy with an accent. I melt like butter.

None, I like as little clarity issues as possible, though the closest is Scottish, but only on the mild side. I find articulation sexy. such tongue work

A five minute video to cover the basics - is it any wonder even people in the UK get confused

Oh I've heard the Geordie accent I'm sure. It was a really interesting sound, especially coming from the guy who it belonged to. His name is Charlie Hunnam and he plays Jax on this awesome biker crime drama show called 'Sons of Anarchy.' It is a really cool accent, one of the strangest ones I've heard and I mean that totally as a compliment because for me the stranger the better. I was more impressed, though, with how well he masked it when on the show. It was quite strong. Are Geordie accents usually that strong or do you think it was just his way of speaking that made it stand out? For example, in the UK, when someone with the accent starts speaking can you immediately tell what it's Geordie? Is it very distinguishable from most, do you know?

And Brummie--Ah, I recently learned what a Brummie was, so I don't need to ask this time what that means. I will look out for one, thanks.

I'm slowly starting to think that Australian is my favorite accent (whether I find it sexy, it depends on the person using it ). I also like English and American. I don't really know Scottish, Irish and Kiwi (is that the proper way to call it?). Could anyone recommend me any good examples of those last three I mentioned?

    I'm confused. Is that Irish?

I have a sexy British accent girlies. :icon_wink I kind of have a thing about nice, well spoken girls who annunciate, but the kind who speak propperly because they're intellegent, rather than just from a family who are rich enough to send them to a posh school. I also like Irish and texan/southern United States. I'm a strange kid lol.

Just to clarify for all you accent freaks out there: I have a slightly rounded Black Country accent, mixed with a bit of Oxford as well. If you don't know where the Black Country is, look it up. I think there is Black Country stuff on youtube. I'm not as broad as all that now but R still spake a bit yam yam.

Arm not a brummy, arm from the Black Country.
