Well during the school year i live on campus at a university in what i believe would be a large city (around 170,000 people i think?) but my parents live in a town about 7 hours drive from there that consists of around 15-20,000 people. That's where i lived when i went to high school and i still live there when not at uni so for the poll i said town

Liverpool in England. Seems i'm the only one

I ticked city, i thought Liverpool was a small city ans London was a large city.
Liverpool's population is around 466,000 so pretty big.

I find it interesting how many people consider themselves to be in small towns. My guess is that most people are only counting the population of their suburb without accounting for it being a part of a large metropolitan area. I know in the US, about 75% of people live in metropolitan areas of more than 100,000, and we're a relatively unurbanized population compared to most of the industrialized nations.

I'd call Liverpool a large city, and London a Metropolis. I ticked large city for Birmingham.

I know for a fact that I live in a town since the population is just around 4,000-5,000.
