Where did you meet your special person?

A lot of them have been uneven and not reciprocal in one direction or the other. It's a real high - in a healthy way - when two people like each in reciprocity. Any other way can be sort of painful. BTDT.

I was reading these and chuckling.

These stories with all the twists and turns are funny. But even after all the twists and turns it looks like it was meant to be!

Is the one you describe at first still going on? The one you say is the best one really is a good one. You can't make up stuff like that. I'm picturing these two really butch guys.

It's interesting how many people can really click in personality and physical chemistry right off the bat and probably for the long run, but in so many situations it turns into a "one and one." So, you didn't just "get lucky," as the saying goes; you got lucky in the true sense of the word.

I had meant to say "one and done." I think we've all heard that one a time or two or three.

 

I met her at my vocational school back in January

 

So I'm not in a relationship but I have a huge crush on this guy and I think there is a possibility that he likes me back. I met him in an activist group focusing on environmental issues. The first time we met was when I came to an introduction meeting for people interested in joining the group. Three members of the group were present in the meeting, and three potential new members (including me), so each member was assigned to introduce one new person to the group. And my crush was assigned to me. Back then I didn't feel attracted to him at all. Everything changed two months later. I realized I had feelings for him at a party at one of the group members' flat. Now the group has dissolved but I still keep in touch with some of the people I met there, including him.

 

I met him via a friend of mine. His brother's friend was interested in my friend, and we connected instantly. We've been together a long, long time.

It started back in 2017 or so, matched with them on a dating app and started talking. Days later, we both got into an argument and blocked each other.

Fast forward to 2020, we reconnected and started talking again and we have been together ever since.

 

My special person was in a relationship with a friend of mine. He and I had a chemistry from day one. His lover took a job out of our area of the country and they broke up. We lost touch for a few years but seems like we found each other now.

In my dreams LOL I had weird dreams started in 2018 and stopped a year ago about the same mystery woman and God in the dream said you are only supposed to be with her. I am like WTF LOL

 

2017, I was 18. I had joined a women's rugby group because I thought it might be a good place to meet some like-minded women and I've always been into sport (rugby is not for me though!). On a night out, we bumped into a group from the men's rugby team, and I hit it off with one of the guys. He was only there on a social basis as he'd already left the team after being injured and never went back to competitive playing. He's the only guy I've ever had that instant strong attraction to. I'm moving in with him next month.
