I've been thinking lately, and I think I might rather not label my sexuality. But if you didn't use labels, what would you tell people, like if you were coming out to them or something? Other than explaining how you're not straight, but you don't use labels, and all that. What would you tell them?
That I date where my heart leads me. That's what I would say. I would not even go with 'not straight'
So who do you like? "Men, women, both, neither. I'll love whoever I end up falling for - a person, not a set of genitals."
I refer to myself as queer normally, questioning if I want to be any more specific than that. Although over the past few months it has become evident that I am mybestfriendsexual. *sigh*
Is it necessary in general for others to know I'm not straight? I don't think it matters either way. Use labels, or don't use them, whichever you like is fine.
A lot of people use queer. Just "not straight" could work as well. Whatever you feel comfortable with!
