Whats the first thing comes to mind when the weekend comes?

    Logistically with our culture and society the way it has evolved I don't think it would work any more, but I agree with you totally. I once had a job that I worked 10 days on 4 days off. I loved it. It took a while to get used to. I wound up having every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday off. It was great. Took so many road trips / mini vacations.

    Now I just think about

    - How are the road conditions for my weekend long run / bike
    - Ugh I have to go into work to check my instruments to make sure they are still running my samples
    - What Delicious meal I am going to make
    - Sleeping in!

    Yeah, and creative ways to avoid it. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    On weekends during the day I normally just laze around and do nothing, and during the night I go out to parties or sometimes clubbing now I'm 18.

    It won't be that way when I start grad school again but oh well

    The first thing that comes to mind is always the nap I take when I get home from work on fridays, and the lengthy shower I take afterwards. I always look forward to it. Sometimes I can't sleep and it really ruins my mood lol. Oh well.

    No parents! YES! Who gets to read whatever they want without hiding in their room? I do! Also, maybe a musical/Harry Potter marathon.

    ...In a more general sense, though weekend = fanfiction and 5ks. Yay! :slight_smile:
