What would happen if every active person on EC met in person?

Maybe not, Simple Thoughts. You would have the added benefit of tone of voice, facial expression and body language and that can soften even the most controversial of comments.

I'm sure if we could see and hear the person behind many of the posted comments on EC we might have a very different view of them.

There are members who post comments that I strongly disagree with, but that doesn't mean I dislike them as a person. Were I to meet them, I might even like them a lot.

 

I'd try and get stuck in there! I'm a lot more up for a debate offline - or argument, as you might call it. But I'm just as open as I am on here!
It would be very... interesting.
I'm silly online and at heart so maybe I could be more of my true self around everyone.

Jk that's just because I'm awkward I think it would be awesome! Definitely a lot of hugging. We'd probably find people we chat a lot with here on EC and just talk about everything. I feel like I know some people on here so well. Since we're talking online, I feel like we're able to be a lot more open and real with each other so if we met in person it would be like we already know each other.

 

I can't help but wonder how many of you would recognize me in the flesh.

Oh my god it would be AMAZING! I am a silly person but I'm very very VERY shy in real life. ;-; But with that aside, it would be so cool! I would give everyone hugs. ♥

 

It would be weird cuz depending on the time of day I would be in a corner with.my headphones trying to ignore all the scary social situation s I have no idea how to deal with. OR I would be looking for my crush in the massive throng of people and I would be giving hugs to people......u know one or the other

 

From the sound of it we're all pretty awkward, so it would probably be tricky at first and some may be surprised or some might recognise others straight away! Where would we meet? When would we meet? Who would turn up? That's what I want to know. I would come, but I would be crippled with fear(and you would probably think that's why I'm in a wheelchair haha)

 

I would probably hide in the bathroom because I am bad in public situations till I'm used to the environment. Then I would probably be doing the splits for everyone lol. Then I would do free makeovers for all good people of ec lol

 

I updated to jumping into internet pipelines a while back, no more sewers for this guy!

And we'd definitely need good wifi wherever we met because I think half of us would be talking to one another right away while the other half would be on their devices chatting electronically to each other until they (eventually, hopefully) joined the rest of us.

And if it's a round room... what ever will the corner people do?

 

This made me wonder if anyone would be able to guess who I was in person. :la:

That would be a pretty interesting experience. o: Although, I'd probably just listen in on conversations since I'm pretty shy, but it'd be cool nonetheless. ^^

I'd be the one on the sidelines in deep conversation with...someone or other, I'm sure. But I'd also be the one organizing the ridiculous prank with a small group over lunch.

I would love to meet you all in real life! Especially those on my Friends list.

 

I would enjoy that. But I'm afraid I would be way too nervous to talk, even with my friends that I chat most with on EC. Besides, I get red in my face (blushing), making me even more nervous. Sigh...
