Any swear words. They are so ugly... I almost never use them.

As soon as I saw this thread, I knew you were going to say "moist". Everyone dislikes that word.

    Here are some I hate:

    -proactive
    -synergy
    -app
    -ableist
    -"family values"

    The slang form of flatulence

No, I won't even say it. I hate the jokes. I hate the sounds. I have never understand why people find them assuming. They disgust me on such a spiritual level.

I have to ask. Is it a dislike of sound or meaning?

I'm going to step out on a limb here and say, it's what the darkest regions of Tumblr's cesspools have molded the word into, that TENNYSON dislikes.

I only like that word with "old" to describe someone like Mike Huckabee.

Also, don't like the slang word for excrement, rhymes with Isaac Roop. lol. I grew up in the UK, where we always said "poo". I can tolerate that one, but adding that extra "p" on the end makes it so much worse.

    Bingo

    I agree with Hazel.

I don't use language, swear words, or vulgarity. Why? (I'm guessing the next poster will swear in response... just waiting for it)

Other than that I really disdain the use of ridiculous colloquialisms. Like: delish, fad, rad, swag, "lol" (*gag*), pet peeve, and other various shortenings or acronym forms of words which were perfectly fine by themselves.

Though despite all of this... I did invent a word that is both of the things I hate. A "new word" that means "bad @$$" and sounds quite like a colloquial slang term.

The word is (*wincing as I type it*)... bazh pronounced "ba + zh" and the zh sounds like the bit in rouge like a j and z mixed up. My brother and I don't use real cuss words so we made up or own version of bad-A since we sometimes need to use the term for it's meaning.

So there you have it. In the dictionary, 'bazh' would look like this:

    bazh (adj.)
    -bad @$$

As in River Song is so bazh.

Dipole. Holy moses, that word makes me want to tear my hair out. Chemistry class has been a total bitch.

Edit: after reading AP's post. I feel obligated to swear. Fuck. Honestly, I've find vulgarity quite interesting, as it's such a fun way to emphasize one's phrases. But I totally get that some people are uncomfortable around that kind of language, which is why I rarely use it, unless I'm fairly sure everyone around is cool with it (sorry ap).

So...no one has said "bae" yet. Can we all agree that word is absolutely horrible?

Person: When bae gives you flowers!
    Me: Stop saying "bae".
Person: No way. "Bae" is bae!
    Me: *gags self with spoon*

    'Bubbly'

    'Bubbles'

    'Bubble'

    :tears:

These words are always used in the most annoying contexts too. 'Oh, I have a really bubbly personality!' or 'A nice glass of bubbly, don't mind if I do!' or 'Mate, you 'avin a bubble?'
