What/who do you distrust?

There are a handful of people I would trust with anything, which is my family and a few friends. Everyone else though I don't trust unless they give me reason to trust them. People that make me particularly uneasy though are men who are tall, anyone who weighs more than I do, and just about anyone who can tower over me/is bigger than me. I tend to not trust hypocritical Christians too, who tend to mainly be Catholics.

 

My siblings and some most of my friends. I trusted someone one time and got really close and she broke my heart so now I'm really wary about peoples intentions towards me, but typically I trust people and believe the best in them. I just don't warm up to them right away and am shy so I tend to slink away from new people and not say much. It's weird it's like I trust people, but I don't trust them to be around me or get close to me. It's weird...

Google Maps is way reliable for me to not trust it. I would have got lost a few times. There has been only one occasion where it led me to the wrong place...

And I have a case of trusting people too easily...

 

I don't really trust anyone, actually. I'm always hiding my secrets. Then again, not many trust me either, they rather view me as a somewhat reliable source of information.

Most of my grade I don't trust because any secrets etc I tell become the next gossip story of the week .

 

The U.S. government, republican or democrat. I do not like them.


Also really REALLY happy people. They make me think that they might be hiding something.

 

Government, capitalism, religion and people who say they care about me.

 

I don't trust anyone. Everyone fucks you over eventually.

I know this is strange, but I have problems trusting people who are older than me. This makes my relationships with my family kind of strained because I'm the youngest. At family functions, I always spend most of my time with my 6 year old cousin.

I have trust issues in general though. I'm super open about things that other people shudder at (sex, my body) but I still have more secrets than I can count.

Except for my two best friends. They're honest and straight forward about most things.

I don't trust most people unless they belong to a select group of people that are close to me. Life's lessons so far have taught me not to trust others.

 

I distrust people who I feel do me wrong, which is pretty hard to do - it takes a lot for me to not trust someone. I feel that trust is important in relationships, whether with friends, partners, family, or otherwise, so most people I meet (so long as I've known them for a decent amount of time, or speak to them enough where it's beyond someone I just happen to know at school), then they get some amount of trust; it varies based on the person. However, when someone does something to lose that trust, it's pretty much gone.

I'm wary of politicians and the higher ups in a corporate setting. I dunno, they bother me for some reason.

 

I have been around the block more than once, and I have taken way too many side trips to the dark underbelly that is humanity.

My experiences have left me with one rule which if I follow it nothing bad happens to me, but if I fail to follow it Sh*t hits the fan. That rule is this:

Trust no one.

 

Can one not trust themselves?

 

at first impression I never trust people who don't introduce themselves and try to form a rapport.

i.e. people in call centres, and all that bureaucratic crap

 

Maybe I trust everyone too much, or at least naturally I like to. If I don't trust someone right away, It's probably just because I get some kind of bad feeling around them.
