What was the Video Game that got you hooked?

    I'm old school when it comes to video games. For me it was Space Invaders. Everywhere I went, I looked for the game cabinets and searched my pockets for quarters. I also had to have it when it came out on Atari and it still marks my best Christmas ever! Super Mario Brothers was also a big influence on my gaming life. When the industry all but died for a couple years, it was that crazy plumber that gave me that shot of adrenaline.

    I would love to hear from all the gamers out there.:sunglasses:

    My fiance is a guitar hero fan, and its great fun. I've never been a gamer really but that is one addictive game. Great fun with a few people round and some drinks on the go.

    The video game that hooked me where on a "Spectrum" computer, You had to upload the game with a tape recorder. It was a game whereby you had to save the flower been eaten by bugs,

    Sounds cool! I am unfamiliar, but google will be able to fill in the blanks for me. LOL. I had a Commodore 64 back in the day with a tape recorder. That was biggest experience with that type of media. I remember playing Zork and some others.

    Oh my goodness! That is in my top 10 all time! It is a masterpiece and an absolute joy! 16 Bit sprite graphics never age when done well and that game is gorgeous. The game play is amazing!

    One think that often gets overlooked in the 2D Mario games is how precise and flawless the controls are. I've played a ton of other platformers and believe me, you realize the difference right away.

    I am a huge pinball fan!!! That's where it began for me in the arcades, before the early video game cabinets like "Boot Hill", "Lunar Lander", "Space Invaders", and "Asteroids".

    I have a play station two with Grand GP game. Never seen the need to upgrade my play station technology. For my desk top computer I run only "AMD" technology with "AMD" 9 CPU..
