Hello everyone, I have no idea what to wear to my grandparent's golden wedding-anniversary this August. I'm definitely not going to wear a dress or skirt, it's just not what I feel comfortable with. But I can't really wear a suit as well since it might get quite warm outside. And it would also be great if I could wear the exact same outfit again to my Abiball (which is similar to prom I guess) next year. Any help appreciated.
I guess you could wear some high wasted pants (wide or more on the skinny side according to you personal preference) with a crop top of the same color or something that you can match with your heels/sandals. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/af/67/1d/af671d250d04409a384438ddbbe7764e.png - I think this outfit looks extremely flattering, but you might want to choose some darker colors since it's formal. The best part about it is that it looks smart, comfortable and fitting for summer. (the crop top could be sleeveless but I guess you get the overall idea from the picture) If you're into clutches, a clutch would be the best accessory for this attire.
Pretty good idea but unfortunately it's not really my style. I think I could go with the pants but a crop top for me is a no-go. I'm not into "showing lots of skin". (Other people can show as much skin as the want to though)
I usually wear dress pants and a fancy top. Just pick out something that looks nice but isn't uncomfortable.
I personally like wearing dress pants with vans and a loose tank top. Sometimes I'll wear heels or some sort of blouse.
I second this, think business casual. Solid colors or very basic patterns. Make sure everything is pressed and wrinkle free and you should be fine.
I'm quite similar to you, I dont like to wear a dress or a skirt ether. I ually go with black jeans and an one-colored top with an open casual shirt. It's not to fancy and not much skin. If its warm you could role up the sleves. But in the end you should ware whatever makes you feel comfortable.
