Is your voice in your head male or female when you read or write things?

Mine is female for as long as I remember. and it bothers me that I can't have that voice in real life.

I feel like mine is pretty neutral, not too deep, but not too high.

I don't know if it means anything, but I don't actually "hear" any voice. Words, thoughts in my head, don't have a gender quality that I have ever noticed. Or perhaps that's because I'm bi-gender. Neither voice gets to be in charge, so it's neutral?

It really depends on the situation for me. When I read dialogue, it tends to be "in character," so to speak, otherwise, i hear my own voice. Which is annoying sometimes, but only when I'm really feeling dysphoric

Seems everyone mostly has a different voice. Wonder why that is. Interesting though.

    Definitely male.

Essentially a deeper form of what I have now. I've gotten so used to that "inner monologue" that when I actually speak, it is sometimes disorientating how high my voice is in reality.

I think mine is pretty neutral, neither male nor female.

Mine sounds like my voice, maybe a little deeper.

It doesn't have one. The voice that's in my head isn't actually a voice, just the concept of words.

Though I realize the way we think may be different from everybody else. I once met a woman who saw her own thoughts as colors rather than words.

Mine's male, it's just like my actual voice but a bit deeper.

Usually, if it's not dialogue of a character, It's my voice. But often times it gets mixed in with voices of people I've been reading about, like on the news. I've had enough Donald Trump narration of my US history book to last me my whole life

Male. Deeper than my normal speaking voice but it has that rough, damaged sound to it that I have when speaking.

I don't have a voice in my head. When I read or write things nothing happens.
