Well, I do a BTEC Level 3 in Engineering and I have my principals exam (Maths) on Wednesday. I have not studied a bit as every time I try to I always get distracted no matter what. I honestly have no clue what I'm doing and ended up winging my GCSEs somehow turning out with all B grades. Help meeeee

    Hi CurdledMilk,

Why were you distracted from studying before? You will probably have thought about this before but would doing any studying until the exam help?

    Study tips:
    - Turn off any electronics you don't need
    - If you have a book you can work off, turn off all electronics
    - Tell your parents/guardians you are studying and not to bother you
    - If you don't know a definition, look in a dictionary
    - Do revision, and then as soon as you get distracted, take a break for 2-15 minutes (depending on when your last break was) and then come back to it.

    Some future tips:
    - Start revising by copying the answer from the book. Then mark it and know where you got the marks. Then re-do the question (about a week later) without the book. See how much you remember and understand (which are two separate things).

I always binge revised in the 48 hours before exams because I would always get distracted until things had reached critical panic levels. I got my GCSEs A-Levels and degree using this method and while I wouldn't recommend it for the sake of your sanity, it is not too late to study and pass.

Have you heard of quizlet? It's mainly for languages, but I've used it for other things too (usually if you have a lot of stuff to memorize). Basically it's online flashcards, there's also an app. It's worked really well for me, and it's very simple to use.

It's maths so all you have to do is learn about 1 thing for every topic and bs the rest
