What lies did you tell yourself?

i still tell myself lies. so most of the time i can't tell if they're lies or not.

 

I was in denial for a loooong time since I was like 11.5. some of my excuses:
It's a phase
I'm not feminine
It's a choice, and I didn't choose it
I'm a late bloomer

 

I was in denial for almost 10 years and I told myself lots of lies, for ex:

- If I stop watching gay porn I won't be attracted to guys anymore
- My attraction to guys will stop if I find the right girl
- I can't be gay because I'm not like that....
- Maybe I would have sex with a guy just because I want to see how it is but I could never have a relationship with a guy, that's just disgusting
- I am extremely picky that's why I haven't found a girl that I like yet

I forgot that one, I used it a lot too :lol:

 

omgosh, this is soo me. i lie to myself soo much; the lies actually start to feel real. :icon_sad:

 

I was one of those kids that was like

"Oh, I don't want to marry a guy; I just want a relationship with them. Strictly physical!"
Boy was I wrong, lulz.

I treated my sexuality like an annoying pest when I was younger. I didn't even know the true meaning of gay meant until I was in 3rd grade and thought it was humanly impossible for two men or women to even romantically kiss until I was in 2nd grade! Talk about naive.:lol:
