I've posted here before, but got a 'new' car in the meantime. Meet my purple Rover:

I think I'm ready for something else. With my new living situation, having a convertible means extra garaging expenses. i think I can get something else newer without too much change in total expenses, and that's appealing.

Ideally, I wouldn't need to drive.

2009 Chevy Impala. Words cannot describe how much I miss the Buick Century that was my first car. That thing rode and drove better than my Impala, and it was so wide.that I could put up the center console, and curl up and take a nap across my front seat.

I drive a 2002 silver Acura TL. This is my third car... My first car I rolled trying to avoid a skunk in the road, the second was a lemon and broke down on me about once a month. It had to go.

Googled it for a pic, this is what my current car looks like:

I'm impressed with how many of you drive sport models, vintage cars & P.U. trucks. Nice to see that you see your vehicles as more than a mundane box on wheels just to get you from here to there.
I have a 2000 Chevy 2500 4WD with the 6.2 L gas engine that gets used only when I need a truck because it gets just10 mpg. I frequently have to carry over a ton of steel so I do need a truck.
I also have a 2013 Impala LTZ that began life as an Enterprise rental car. It's an OK car but I'm not in love with it. No trouble with it but it has design flaws that irritate me. Most are results of "safety" mandates that actually make it less safe in my opinion. Things like oversize head rests and fat corner pillars that obstruct vision and that damned computer controlled throttle that often doesn't tell the engine the same thing my right foot tells it. The car does have one redeeming quality- the 305 horses under the hood. It will hold its own with anything in its class.

I drive a 17 year old Honda CRV. Her name is Judy. She was my mother's car until I got my license. She somehow has many fewer problems than the newer cars the rest of my family drives.

I don't own the car, but what I most frequently drive is my family's beat-up momvan  It's a 2008 Grand Caravan, and although the thing is covered in dints and scrapes, I'd just like to say that I've made a mark on the beauty.

One of the more notable injuries it has sustained was when a kid working in a Rona lumber yard accidentally smushed in the back panel with a wooden beam.

Another was when my mum ran into a coyote. We had some his fur stuck on our grill for a week or two, as we were all too chicken to pull it out. The van has also had a showdown with a deer or two.

The breaks sound like the screams of a innocent soul in hell, and you can't turn the beater on without having at least two warning lights light up.

The poor vehicle has lasted past the five years of my sister's competitive curling; meaning roadtrips up (and sometimes out of) province every weekend in the season. It's had cow shit smeared into it's carpet, and has seen more than it's fair share of vomit. It's had sweaty soccer socks stuffed and forgotten under it's seats, and had it's head rests covered in drool.

Despite it being a rather new vehicle, it's certainly nearing it's deathbed, and isn't exactly "road-safe". I'm proud to drive this clunker, and always try to treat it right.

I used to drive a Toyota Corolla, but we recently sold it to a car dealership. We now drive a Nissan Sentra. I would like to sell our current car sometime in the near future, and get a nice, new car =)

I recently sold my Ram 1500, as I wanted something smaller with better fuel economy.

So I bought a 2013 Dodge Durango. In my mixed driving I get 18 MPG, which is a lot better than the 13 MPG I got before. Plus now I have AWD, 60 more HP, and heated seats.

Plus with the folding rear seats, it is perfect for sax.
