    I need help.

Heres the situation. If you could imagine one big thing, something that affected the whole world, what would it be? It can be fantastical, or scientific or just plainly original.

Its for a song I am writing. It would be a huge help if you passed an idea.

    Just write What If...

I will start with a couple ideas.

what if we found out the world wasnt round, and the oceans all flooded into space.
what if the mountains all stood up and walked away, like giants awakening from where they lay.
what if we were all flowers on an apple tree, then we'd have to procreate through the birds and bees.

YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED, seriously.

What if we grew gills and had to live in the sea, and the fishes took the places of you and me?

Haha, I'm so lame. It rhymes!

What if dinosaurs still roamed the place?
They'd take up every parking space.

What if our nostrils both were pointed up?
They'd fill in the rain like a paper cup.

What if the sun came up in the west each day?
Then sundials would face the other way.

What if ProTools was never ever deployed?
Then Ashlee Simpson would be unemployed.

What if Zac Efron was Andy Dick?
Then High School Musical'd be a horror flick.

What if song lyrics didn't have to rhyme?
It'd sure make finishing this line easier.

...send me my royalties care of ASCAP.

What if humans were the inferior race, and there was an organism in us all that was really in control, who then killed us all and took over? >.>

What if all trees disappeared, and there was no more oxygen? >.> I dunno <.< lol

"What if the flagstones stood up and walked on us?"

On a musical note, I'm contemplating whether to try and cover Chicane's Don't Give Up on acoustic guitar. It's such a weird idea, but for some reason I can see it working. It'd be like Jose Gonzalez's cover of The Knife's Heartbeats. I'm also thinking about Spitalfield's Gold Dust vs State of Illinois.

wow, first of all, I want to say, you guys are awesome.

Holly, I love the idea of living underwater. Like if we all had no choice but to live under the sea because the clouds kept raining until we were all under water. and we had to be friends with the fishies. Thanks for your idea.

Lex, you definitely made me LOL intensely. I like the idea of the sun coming up in the west... would that mean that all our clocks would be backwards too?. Awesome. I dont know about the others though, lol, they are very funny, but the song is more serious. I might build a little on the dinosaur one, I think that could be interesting :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.. Thanks so much doctor, (I dont want to use any celebrity names in fear of being sued). BAHAHAHAH

I know what you mean Mizou, ya that would be mad, if it turned out like, the elephants were really the smart ones or something, asnd they were just spying on us for knowledge of how we act. And all the disasters in theworld were because of them, like experiments to see how we react. WONDERFUL THANKS SO MUCH.

JAMES, I love all your Ideas.... but I honestly... dont know what a flagstone is. O_O, shoot me now. but from all your ideas yesterday, I am coming up with a mad new line, I'll post it on here when I'm done.

Heatqueen, that is possibly the coolest thing ever. I will def work on that concept. wow, if the earth was just a massive animal... O_O

Flagstone is a type of rock that was usually used as flooring in castles hundreds of years ago.

I used that because it sounds cooler than paving slabs. >.<

Still thinking of new ones. Keep accidentally making ones too similar to ones I've used before, like the 'See music; hear colour' one, though.

There are only so many epic things I can think of.

What if it turned out we could fly all along... we could meet on the horizon and fall asleep on a cloud.

I need a rhyme for this.

Forget your borders, and spread your wings... It is never the time for doubts.

Don't know if the syllables, rhythm, all of that, match up. I'm assuming you can fix that - if it's any good - though.

What if we could fly on a wing and a prayer?
We'd definitely bankrupt Trans World Air.

...sorry. Apparently, I can't stop being a smartass today.

Write one for Weird Al to parody after this becomes the biggest hit of the year.

    Lex, you are too funny.

James, I like it, how about instead of borders, boundaries.

Suits me fine. It's probably fit the rhythm better, too, since I think your line had quite a few more syllables.
