I chose something different. I chose the impossible.
    I chose... RAPTURE

A city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, Where the great would not be constrained by the small! And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well.

(Or you could copy and paste it)

Am I the only one that uses Ubuntu!! It's free, and 1000x better than any other platform; unless you are a gamer because Microsoft owns a freaking MONOPOLY when it comes to gaming; which should be illegal in my opinion.

OR is everyone a slave to Microsoft and Apple.

Yeah yeah yeah, but are you sure you can resist the Aqua interface?

Anyways, I use all three and Kali, so I shouldn't really be talking.

Urgh, just seeing Spotify on a desktop makes me angry that it's not in Canada yet.

UGHH, I hate mac's, never will like them. They are the most monopolozing of them all. Everything has to be Apple approved, they charge WAYYY TO MUCH for their computers; it is robbery. Poor people can never afford a Mac, I don't consider any company that isn't for the distribution of their products in an affordable manner a viable option.

Buying an Apple is like buying a computer in 1995, we are in 2013, they need to lower their prices.

I also find Apple's to be very goofy in their demeanour.

Apple spends a lot of money on research and development which I commend them for, but they do charge too much, and I don't like the fact poor people are left out of the equation. Ubuntu is a free platform, based on the goal to spread computer's benefits to all walks of life.

Many third-world nations are donated Ubuntu platforms, and the fact they don't have to spend the money on an expensive OS makes me smile. I have donated to them just for this fact, and I hope they continue to develop one of the best OS the world has known, all for free, and with the collaboration of thousands of developers from all walks of life around the world.

Microsoft and Apple, shame on you for monopolozing :eusa_naug

I know all that, man, but if you don't like the price of a mac, build a Hackintosh. Also, it's not Microsoft's fault that they own the gaming scene, it's the fault of devs. Ubuntu is awesome, but it just can't do all the same stuff. CS6 for Linux will be a start, though.

Wow, some of your desktops look cool. Mine is just a standard desktop and it has a picture of the sea in the background (the picture came with the computer and I can't be bothered to change it >_>).

My desktop picture is of my sister (which is why I won't be posting a photo) which cheers me up every time I see it when I'm away from home
