What does it feel like when you’re ready to come out? How will I know I’m ready?

A few people have posted that they came out when things got so bad that coming out couldn't possibly make things any worse. I hope you won't wait that long, and that you'll have the clarity to do it when the time is right. And, like other people here have said, the choice is yours. Good luck!!

 

I am a little behind you on acceptance- still struggling with that ..but I have felt strong, positive urges to tell certain close friends I imagine parents are harder, and there are some people I dread telling but I don't think it's all negative - there is something that feels so good about acceptance that you want to tell people who you really are.
