    Okay, so I went on Wikipedia, and the scoop is that there a various different models taught around the world of how many continents there are.

    So basically, it depends where you come from as to what continents are recognised, and Australia is interchangable with Australasia and Oceania

    Anyway, GO AUSTRALIA!

    I define Australia as a country.

    The terms Oceania or Australasia exist in order to classify Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, Fiji and all the other Pacific Nations and Territories east of Micronesia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia.

    A correction is needed!

    Well, I don't know about so many countries, but not in all Eastern European countries you learn there are 6 continents.

    I for one learned there's 7... North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia (sometimes considered as 'Australia and Oceania') and Antarctica.

    So well, Europe, before (Romania) and now (Germany).

    And a question... what's South-Eastern Europe?

    Would that be places like Turkey? When I was there, the tour guide said it straddled the border between Europe and Asia, so that means it's East, and it's kind of Southernly in relation to the rest of it. I'm not sure, international geography is like my worst point ever, but I think it's in that general areas

    Well, I know Greece considers itself in Southern Europe (not SE Europe) and Turkey... well, only a really small part of Turkey is in Europe.
