Nope, not one. Unless he resigns, that would be the only smart decision he'd make.

I understand. I don’t know I just don’t like the sound of it even though I mean I totally see why people use it. Even if I was in a long term relationship I would just want to be called boyfriend. I don’t know why but I would.

Self improvement and personal growth is a process that takes place over a period of time and it's inevitable that we'll fall back to familiar habits and behaviour patterns during that process. We live and learn Destin. The most important thing is to not throw our hands up in the air and concede defeat, because that's a sure fire way of remaining stuck in the quagmire and experiencing a life that's blighted by bad decisions and chaos.

Yes, you have to make yourself accountable, otherwise you have no cause or reason to change, but that doesn't mean berating yourself when you slip up. The best way to make yourself accountable is to investigate and understand the causative issues behind the thought patterns and harmful habits, but it will mean confronting personal demons and facing home truths. It's something that many of us (myself included) have had to do and there is absolutely no shame in admitting that you can't do something alone.

I know right. Our country isn't for universal healthcare, but eager to waste a billion plus on a space force.. So like does he play video games? lol. Maybe he's been watching his 12 y/o play them because a space force is ridiculous, only in games.

You know you’ve lived in the Deep South too long when you return to your hometown and your first thought is “why is everyone running around so fast rushing everywhere for no reason!?”....until realizing they’re the same as always but you’ve gotten slower without knowing it. This is such a strange feeling.

It's incredibly common in Australia for same-sex and opposite-sex couples to say partner. It's partly because the widespread existence of de facto legal relationships in Australia sort of undermine the casualness of non-marital relationships (they have virtually the same legal entitlements as marriage but it's just an automatic thing that happens to a couple after a while, usually by living together). Even a number of legally married people I know still use the term from time to time.

I think it's a great way to neutralise both the way we privilege marriage above all other relationships and assumptions about people's sexuality. I think it's great to break down a dichotomy of relationships as either 'casually dating' or ' 'til death do us part' as well as giving people the ability to ambiguate their sexuality if they see fit.

So I got this little guy last weekend. Sorry the image is so big.

I call him Lorenzo. Just thought I'd share because I think he's freaking adorable and the world could use more of that right now.

That tender moment when you're cuddling with your dog...and then he goes to sneeze and head butts you right in the nose

Or when you’re going down to give your dog a kiss and he looks up and moves his head and it hits your mouth. :disappointed_relieved:

I'm considering growing my hair out a bit. And by that I mean longer than a #3 & #4, but shorter than a #8 or so.

We have a Sales Rep here who I cannot STAND. Yesterday I realized that life is way too short to be mad over petty things.

I still don't like him, but I'm learning to tolerate his company.

I miss it when Obama was in office.
