Feeling quite triumphant from yesterday despite all the stuff that's been going on recently.

I volunteer at a school and I feel pretty stoked that I managed to get through a full day being so genuinely happy

I also talked to my friend about what's been on my mind which was a HUGE deal for me. She was so supportive and has arranged for all of us in the friends group to go out.

Then I saved a little boy from being run over yesterday which was by far the best thing that happened in a long time.

I saw this tiny boy walking on the sidewalk and I didn't immediately want to go over to him as his parent(s) may have been nearby. So I looked around and didn't see an adult close by and by this point he'd wondered close to the kerb. He stepped out as soon as a car was coming so I literally scooped him up without thinking. I asked him where his mum or dad were and made sure I carried him back.

I recognised his mum as someone that worked at the school and let her know what happened. It would have been sad to think of anything happening to any child just outside of school.

The only thing scary about this Halloween is my massive workload, for our University project. :astonished:

Well, looks like I'm gonna be busy, for quite some time...

I’m unreasonably proud of the bathroom passes I made for my students to use:

I don't think you would like it. It's R&B/Hip-Hop, Soul music

It's by Phonte a rapper who is also apart of The Foreign Exchange and Little Brother , and a R&B group called The Brand New Heavies which is a group connected to Jamiroquai. The song is called Sex God.

I don't get it, how can someone use a car to drive 1 - 2 km to school? What's so hard about using your own feet, and actually walk? I understand if you live farther away, are sick or have a lot of stuff to carry. But otherwise, why? Walking is healthier, less expensive, and wakes you up if you are not fully awake...

Does anyone else lose weight when they get sick? I'm already borderline underweight; now the line has been crossed. I'm down to 115. :frowning2: I'm feeling though so I cannot wait to pig out when my appetite has fully returned.
