Honestly, one of the deaths was long overdue. If you missed The Talking Dead after it, one of the actors said their death was supposed to happen in a previous season, but it was given to someone else. The change of pace was because Robert Kirkman wasn't pleased with how they were written off in the comics, which is why they were given the honor of going out in the premier like a total boss.

Still, I'm super happy to see not only did they not hold back on the violence (because Negan is a hardcore, nasty motherfucker in the comics) and that the effects have greatly improved and are in sync with the comics. It sucks to see some great faces go, but I'm stoked for what the future has in store.

I hope I'm wrong about what I fear I'm right about today.

It won't be pretty if I'm right but, it will be the right thing to do.

    Do I wanna get paid?

I'm so tired but I am slaving away on spreadsheets and emails doing payroll.

My friend at work (who is black) is trying to say that black people are responsible for 90% of all the inventions ever made. She also tried saying Thomas Edison was black. I told her he had a black assistant who enlightened him on the invention of the lightbulb. Then she tried saying that no one gave his black assistant credit for the enlightenment; even though it's in numerous historical documents. She also said that white people are the only nationality that sticks together politically. I swear, I'm so sick of being around ignorance.

Both nationalities have hateful, racist mentalities. Another black woman I work with said that murder is just as bad as being gay. As of today, I'm looking for another job. I told HR about this, and they said she's entitled to her opinion, even though it's causing a hostile work environment.

That sounds like more than just ignorance. Sounds like she has a screw loose or a lightbulb out, or needs to renew her membership at the funny farm...

I'll never understand why some people need to act as if their race accomplished everything great ever done in order to feel good about themselves. (Because believe it or not, this is not the first time I've heard this kind of insane denial).

I was in a lot of pain yesterday evening, so I didn't really exercise today (just to be on the safe side)

On a more positive note, I've managed to stay still long enough to watch some anime!

There are doorways, and behind those doorways is darkness. You are kept in a room and your needs are cared for, but you may not leave the room. You can physically leave quite easily, but after crawling through the blindness outside for an unknown amount of time, you always end up back in the room.

Sometimes items are smuggled on your person when you wake but you do not know from whom or where they came. Sometimes when you are outside the room, you see fragments of other rooms in the distance but any attempt to reach them fails and again you find yourself in your familiar surroundings.

I was dreaming this curious dream last night and it felt so real. Maybe I'll write a short story with the concept.

Exactly! LOL at the light bulb comment. XD I agree.

I don't understand that either. I never in my life have discredited the fact that African Americans are responsible for so many great inventions. But to say that they are responsible for 90% of the inventions, is just idiotic. I'm not saying that because I don't want it to be the truth. I'm saying it because it is, in fact, untrue. I don't even know why she brought that up. We were discussing something completely different from this topic. It's like she had to bring it up in order to feel somewhat validated. But instead, she got the firm facts that she didn't want to hear. She was raising her voice at me, so I became firm and showed her solid proof of the facts. She started to stutter and bring up irrelevant topics. She then became irritated with me, and got very quiet. Now she's giving me the cold shoulder. I don't understand why she's being so difficult.

My "crush?" inexplicably deactivated her Facebook account today. I'm struggling between wanting to find out whether something's going on and just maintaining my silence, both with her and our mutual friend...

My grandmother today casted what will more than likely be her final vote for Hillary Clinton. Despite the dementia destroying her brain, she still had the good sense to vote against Donald Trump.
