    It's September 12, one year since my grandmother had her stroke. My family's own personal 9/11. This has put us all through hell for a year now, and hopefully it will be coming to an end soon both for her sake and ours.

    The low this morning was a balmy 35F/2C ish temp, yet I saw a guy this morning wearing a heavy coat and a fur, full-face hat. I literally burst out laughing. Couldn't hold it in.
