I have to walk all the way across town today. The sidewalks are ice, and my knee is acting up and that's going to suck.

Who'd have thought that it would prove so useful to have a basic knowledge of politics? Seriously, the standard to "impress" seems so low when nobody (in the area) can access the internet. And I'm reminded of why I'm quite asocial; folk end up asking me lots of questions and praise is followed by requests lol

 

I wake up and my nose is really runny and I think 'wow I should get some tissues' and I get up and see blood everywhere.

It's too bad I'm not the Governor. The reason this is happening again is because they weren't swiftly dealt with the last time they tried this in Nevada. I personally would have called in the National Guard and dealt with this the same way Bill Clinton dealt with Waco: set the building on fire and tell them that they can either come out with their hands up or fry. The ones that do come out should then be sent to prison for life with no parole. That'll send the message to these right-wing extremists that they're not going to keep getting away with this shit.

 

I know i shouldn't be complaining when people tell me secrets because it's great to be trusted but it also gets too much sometimes. I have so much things I have to keep from everyone else.

What amazes me is that this is tolerated, at all.

Image if the gun-men were black, or Muslim???? I doubt they'd be getting the same treatment.

The degree of racism in allowing these 'good 'ol boy cow-hand' sorts to act as phony patriots nauseates me.

It's one reason I've always been a bit scared of living out west; the coastal area is one thing, but then, you get a lot of these macho, gun-slinging, occasionally white-supremacist wackos. (I was reading it was illegal for blacks to even move to Oregon until 1926.)

 

Got all the info on my chem project and it is impossible for me to do. Ugh!!!
