    Me and my dad decided to go because we can't stand training with little kids and his gut was acting up he's also going to the doctor tomorrow to make sure he doesn't have Crohn's disease.

    That aside, yeah, I'd use Ubuntu too if I was a little more tech savvy and had more time on my hands to really get more out of it. I'm probably gonna have to get a Windows if I end up getting a gaming PC so believe me, I am a conflicted Apple boy.

    Feeling like transition is eons away... Doesn't help with my mom warning me about detransitioners and saying I should wait until I'm at least 25... I'll be 18 in 3 years, plenty of time to consider serious medical changes, and I need to do what's right for me, not wait until some arbitrary number. Living through dysphoria is a daily hell. Imagining a life where at least some of that is gone seems unimaginable. It's not like I'm asking for a ton of surgeries tomorrow. I'm prepared to wait my 3 years and even get a job to support paying for transition to ensure it's what I want.

    I know, I know, she's just being a mom. But I would appreciate if she didn't make it seem like this was one big phase and I was being ungrateful for wanting top surgery when I'm older.

    Good luck! Unfortunately as you lose more weight you get diminishing returns on your efforts. Your body is very intelligent and learns to adapt under circumstances so you got to keep changing your diet and exercise to continue to lose weight.

    Believe me, that's the idea. I'm hoping now that I'm on T, my metabolism's going to kick up a bit. And I'm thinking about joining a gym.

    No, unfortunately I finished puberty when I was like 12 so it would be kind of pointless. And my dad barely addresses my trans identity, let alone letting me take something like that.
    I just have to keep my head up till then.
