    Just found my aunt making one of those "men don't belong in the women's restroom, blah, blah, blah" type of posts. I thought she was better than that? Why is my family becoming a secret society of little shits? I responded anyways, maybe I'll see where this goes...

    I'm having a traditional Hawaiian lunch with my sister at a restaurant. It's laulau and it's a plate of steamed rice with pork and cabbage and a "bag" made of tea leaves and a taro leaves and fish inside. Everything is delicious but the taro leaves are an acquired taste.

    Whenever I see people wearing friggin' flip flops everywhere, I won't say anything (why would I), but internally I'm judging the shit out of them. It probably has something to do with my upbringing. Something just goes off inside me, yelling "you are not in your fucking living room!     Fake it until you make it. Pretend you're a confident, put-together motherfucker. And put that baked potato to shame. Eventually, it just becomes second nature. I'm an anxious little shit but when I talk to a client or a hiring manager, I try to emulate a white collar alpha male. Pretend you're the best motherfucker around and you'll be good to go.

    I'm hoping my cousin didn't block me on Facebook or anything, because I can't find her anywhere and that worries me. She's one of the only connections I have to my grandma on my dad's side of the family, and it's going to kill me if I blew my one shot to reconnect.
