There's a new worker at the local grocery store. How did I notice? When the guy is eye candy, how can I resist asking where the mayonnaise is when I know exactly where it's located? Hot damn.

I'll definitely have to get some more men's jeans, these women's pairs don't fit me anymore.

My Okami OST is coming some time next week, can't wait to get that beauty in my hands.

I'm literally going to be doing nothing tomorrow except drinking (it's a large party at my undergrad university)--I don't drink very often (last time was last year), but when I do, I go hard. So I'm excited for it

Not exactly an old member, nor am I a popular one, but I've been here for a bit. It's nice to come back and look around a little. I love seeing familiar faces and getting to know how they've been doing, but I do miss those who have left. Hopefully they're doing alright as well.

While I was at group a couple days ago, a question of, "Where would you like to travel to", came up and I said I wanted to go to Germany. Another guy in the group was like, "Naziiiiisssss", I know he was joking but I get tired of people connecting Germany with Nazis. What about their chocolate? Or architecture? Or Language? Or even their bureaucracy? I know I should just get over it but it's really been bothering me lately.

Yeah that's so true!!! I totally get that. I'm so tired of the white supremacists at my school. Like today we were having an assembly for the Armenian genacide and this big group of kids were waving around American flags and saying how too much attention is payed to Armenian genocide. I wish ignorant people would get their heads out of their asses

One of my friends put an LGBT "ally" in place, after she went on a long rant over the term "cisgender", using the argument, "You don't like being called names like tranny, so why call others terms they're uncomfortable with?"

I'd post his professional yet firm reaction, but it's not allowed. :frowning2:

I hate it when people use the word "strange" to describe other people...

Saw this Google ad and it's actually kind of funny. I like it.

Of course, I would always be clicking "defer" and never meet "George".

I hear you; that drives me absolutely crazy, too. Back when I was in college I had a friend of my roommate's ask me about the German flag I had hanging up, and when I explained my heritage, the dumb bastard thought it would be funny to do the Nazi salute when he thought I wasn't looking. Or when I tell people of my interest in German culture (or just German stuff in general) and they ask "You don't support Hitler, do you?"

Damn it, people, this is the 21st Century. The Third Reich imploded over seventy years ago. People who were born after 1945 have lived out their entire lives and died since the Nazis were last in power. That is a beautiful country that has not had ties to the Nazis in decades, yet there are still people who can't resist a cheap crack at the country's history. Let this stereotype die!

(Aaaaaaaaaaaand now I'm the one ranting about it.)
