Finally came out on Facebook and changed my name to my preferred name.

Funniest political ad I've been hit with as of yet. It's for a local (Texas Congress) house race. The Republican incumbent, Straus, is also the speaker of the Texas House, and is battling a Tea Party Republican.

Thinking about taking up a minor or dual major in biology. I'd like to have the option of medical school in the future. My goal is to have a shit ton of letters after my last name, I'm getting 2 sets with my bachelor's degree alone. I also like how Dr. sounds and looks with my last name

 

Yeah trying not to rush it I just want to go by my preferred name and everything ya know?

 

Sometimes you just have to take a leap and see what happens, never know unless you try.

 

I can't even get in to see my therapist. She doesn't have anything available, hasn't for months. ...what's the point of therapy if it sucks this much?

 

Big business. Some of us are unwilling therapists, ie emotional tampons.

 

I just feel really fucking lonely right now. It's like I'm completely invisible everywhere else but here. No one notices me on social media. Not one of my "friends" has even bothered to text me or say hey in weeks. I'm working my ass off professionally instead of trying to find friends again and it's like nothing's recognized there either. No one reads anything i write. No one pays attention to anything I do. At this point it's just really hard for me to really want to bother anymore, you know?

 

Yes i know you think I'm weird.Half the school probably agrees with you but still you and everyone else has been pointing it out since grade 5 that's what 7 years now? Don't you ever get tired of repeating things over and over again?

 

In line for early voting for primaries. It's a 1.5 hour wait. One of the many small costs of a democracy :lol:.

 

Just respond with a big grin and "Yes, I am. Thank you for noticing" and walk away....

But I do agree with you pup I mean it is quite depressing when you think about it but at least I get to work in a restaurant.

 

It is both annoying and bizarre to me when certain female celebrities say that they're gay/bi and then come out as straight later admitting in interview that their PR manger thought it was a good idea so they went along with it and that they're actually straight. :eusa_doh: I get that they want to appeal to there audiences, I really do, it's just really annoying.
