I was going to say that asking Google for nearby toy shops and getting Ann Summers as a result was funny, but I can see there's some "serious" stuff going down here.

I'd really like to tell the NCAA football rules committee where they can shove their bullshit "Targeting" rule...

I hate the stupid "helmet" rule. "#80 must come off the field for 1 play, his helmet came off." :frowning2:

I got another stupid sports rule for you guys, and this isn't so much for American football, but when guys get yellow carded for ripping their shirt off during a goal celebration. Or even stupider, last season when one of our guys scored in the biggest rivalry match of the year, and to celebrate, he and another of our guys put on Batman and Robin masks, and our "Batman" got yellow carded. How is that worthy of an automatic yellow card? [IMG] Sometimes sports rules make no sense.

I dont' want to go to work T.T My Monday coteacher causes me so much stress in the classroom and these days has been spreading lies about me and making my coworkers angry at me for no reason... T.T I very rarely straight-up don't like someone... but she is an exception T.T She comes in right before the bell rings and then makes me set up all the equipment before class starts (somehow??) and then either plays on her phone and refuses to help, actively distracts the students when I'm teaching, tries to steal the lesson materials I made, or makes racist/homophobic remarks at me... fuuuuuuu

It's cute when a customer asks me:
"Do you have clothes for bigger people?"
    I just think to myself:
"Bigger? Pfft! Don't you mean fatter?"*sassy finger snap*

Australia and Nauru are shutting down detention centre in Nauru for asylum seekers this week, which will give freedom of movement and more opportunities for the asylum seekers relocated there. Given that many women reported being denied medical services, refused protection despite endemic sexual assaults within the camp, this is quite a welcome move.

I'm sort of suspicious that it was done to make this week's High Court challenge against the policy (the plaintiff has been detained on Nauru) have less of a basis for doing away with offshore detention.

I might actually go to watch that case.

    That's really unpleasant.

Try to place yourself in the shoes of the person/customer asking you whether you can help them. Imagine having to ask a total stranger that question. For a lot of people, asking the kind of question you were asked is difficult, because at that moment they are making themselves vulnerable.

If you are providing customer service, and you have these kinds of thoughts while providing it, you might want to think about whether customer service is a good fit for you.

So my ro ommate was ran over by a suburban today while on his bike. She ran a stop sign and just plowed into him. He went flying and she went over the bike, which is totally fucked up. She just kept going, a hit and run. He was outside of a Trader Joe's and a huge crowd of people saw it and ran to help. I fly over there when he texts me. He was still getting interviewed by the police and they helped me load his bike into my trunk. He was shot in Iraq, stabbed once, and now he's been hit by a car. He is literally indestructible. He also cried today which was horribly heartbreaking. His life is tragic and stuff like this proves to me that there isn't real justice in this world.

So I today I met a girl I used to like from God knows when. I'll be honest my heart sank to see her with someone else and she has 3 kids already. I'm like being bombarded by Katy perry's "the one that got away". I should have kept in touch with her. Uggggggggh

Two good friends came out to me this weekend...and I'm just so flashed and I can't get it out of my head
I've know them for years, since school actually, and they all identified as straight.
Well, now I have a transexual friend and another gay friend. In school we were a group of four friends, all 'straight' (Well I considered myself at least as bi to that time), now we're all somewhere in the LGBT+ spectrum  When that's not fate, I dunno, haha.

I'm so happy for them that they can be completely themselves now and that they are totally happy with their lives aaaand that there are no more secrets between us (!)
