My PC got infested with adware and I fixed it, No more downloading from unsafe sites.

 

Would recommend Hitman Pro for future, my go-to quick virus checker.
Also would recommend investing in a Mac or downloading Linux.

 

Round two of midnight ambulances for my dad. I've been at the ER for 5 hours. Dad already cried on us. After he said those horrible things about LGBTQ+ people earlier.....I can't seem to feel bad for him.

He even questioned me and asked if I want him to even fight to live longer for me. I said yes...but, I'm not really sure right now.

Not to mention how bad the weather is here ATM

It's 4:10 am and I am completely bored. I have nothing to do but sleep, eat and any other inside activity I feel like doing but I feel like I've already done everything and all I wanna do is go out and have fun. I have no money until tomorrow.. It's just too long to wait.

 

Didn't sleep yet! Finally back at my hotel. Dad was told to leave ER, seeing a specialist in 3 hours. Driving 45 minutes in the snow to the office is going to be a pain in the ass.

 

It snowed a few inches. Several universities/colleges/CC around my area are closing. Only mines has a 2 hour delay. How useless... only at my university >_>

I fell asleep at work again. x_x So I had to make myself go down to the cafeteria and get coffee. I think it helped some. The reason is because my girlfriend stays up late and likes to talk on the phone, and so do I. So I have to be better about making myself get off the phone at a reasonable time. :/

 

Gaahhhhhhh I need a drink. I deserve one.

Last month I signed a petition calling on the British government to pardon around 49,000 men, who, like Prof. Alan Turing, were convicted of "gross indecency" under the old anti-gay laws. I've just read an e-mail update on the petition - apparently, it's received 366,000 signatures. Wow! Hope the govenment takes note.

Second straight snow day, and I wouldn't be surprised if we have another one tomorrow. All the work I need to do has to be done from campus, so my days have largely consisted of cleaning, cooking, and watching movies. Tomorrow I will be going out for a burger come hell or high water (or snow, or ice).
