The Horrors' concert that I'd been looking forward to (And had booked since early June) so much has been cancelled
Glad to hear about your coming out story going well. In other news, I nearly rear-ended a guy yesterday but got on the brakes just enough. He stopped really quickly on the road. So glad because my parents would be super pissed at me......
I did that once. It was the summer after I got my driver's license when I was 16, and it was pouring rain. The girl in front of me in some little early-90's Cavalier decided she was going to run the red light as it turned yellow, and so I just started gradually stopping as if nobody was in front of me. She decided at the last possible second to slam on her brakes and not go through the light, and I locked them up, and slid into the back of her. There wasn't any damage to my car, and she held up her middle finger until the light turned green and then peeled out of there, which led me to believe she didn't have insurance.
I won't pretend to understand, but you'll get a (*hug*) from me, nonetheless. Still here if you want to talk about it.
He was just going too fast. Everybody in front of him was. Then, the guy behind me nearly hit me. He had to go in the center turn lane to avoid hitting me.
I survived the boredom of jury duty. Didn't even get put on a panel. Oh well, at least I'm exempt from county/district jury duty for three years.
