The cult of hyper-masculinity in the West is probably one of the biggest lies in our cultures. It's so often like a lion squealing at the suggestion it can't roar.

Doubly funny because I have literally said that on more than one occasion. Well, not exactly. I believe my exact words were:

    "ALL THE HOMO"

    and

    "FULL HOMO"

Before hugging them as tightly as humanly possible without merging and/or kissing them on the cheek.

Yes! I think anyone should be able to complement anyone. Well...I'm not gonna say straight guys don't complement each other. They generally don't say "you have beautiful eyes". They don't talk specific features. It's just something like "your a good looking dude".

You know, lately...I've been talking to my straight friends. I told them feminine does not = gay. One of them is actually starting to listen to me....I love it.

I remember one time, me and my nephew walked into p.f. Changs with iced passion teas from starbucks (unsweeted. and yes, they are pink). When the lady asked how many I said 'just two'. She was so exited, I could tell she was thinking 'OMG gay people!'.

    "Could I get some homo?"

"Was that full homo, light homo, 2% homo, vitamin homo or soya homo?"

    "I just want real homo!"

I don't think non-Australians will get this; it's a reference to an ad for milk that ran a while ago.

Its really funny to think that teen guys are all "no homo" because all of my guy friends are literally hugging all the time or carrying each other. Or sitting on each others laps.

They are all really touchy feely.

Me neither, actually. I've never heard of such a phenomenon as having to space seating in a theater to avoid being too close to one's friends. I mean I'll space a seat or two between me and any strangers if it's available, but friends? No, I need to be close enough to make fun of the movie with them and ruin it for everyone around us.

I really need to get out and do something. I feel like I'm always in my house doing nothing but my job and on the computer with the occasion of sports. I've been trying to wait for one of my team mates to come back from Arizona because I know that if I'd ask her to go to the movies with me, she would but no one knows when she's coming back. I have a movie pass that I got for Christmas and it's burning a hole in my pocket.

On a lighter note, Target is leaving Canada. That store has been trouble ever since it's gotten here.. though, I will miss having Starbucks inside the mall. I really hope that Party City moves in that now empty space.. or Michaels..

I was so excited for the arrival of Target 2 years ago. But from the time I set foot in that store, I knew it was bound to fail eventually.
.... The only thing I'm going to miss is the cheap price of my Aussie Moist hair conditioner : 2.00 or 2.99 --> compared to 5.99 at the pharmacy!!

I'm going to the mall the buy boots this morning... I think I might check out target at the same time. I wonder when the crazy liquidation prices are going to start!??!

It figures that I'd wake up two hours before my alarm set at nine and be wide awake all week but if I set my alarm for eight...

Finished for the night, now to sit back and relax till tomorrow. It is rather unpleasant, having worked on something to end up having to wait three days, for the results of your actions to present themselves. Talk about anxiety, how am I to distract myself now?

Martha Stewart was on the Today Show making avocado smoothies and I couldn't help but wonder if this is how she spent her stint in prison...

"Hey Martha, the food you make on TV looks worse than what we already feed the prisoners, so we're going to put you in charge of the kitchen. I guess you can pretend there's a studio audience in front of you."
