    Okay, here's what I wish my clients would understand. I am not your employee. I'm a contractor. You're hiring me to complete a service.

    I expect you to communicate with me. Don't give me vague instructions, like "write something for this site." You need to be specific with me. You wouldn't tell a painter to paint the outside of your home "whatever color you think is best". You need to have a complete understanding of what you're looking for.

    I can't help you if you don't know what you want. What's your business all about? Who is your target audience? What keywords do you want me to include? What topics are we covering? What's your estimated word count?

    And most importantly, SIGN THE FREAKING CONTRACT! I don't work without a contract and an agreed pay rate.

    Another feminism thread? Enough about that goddamn label already! Even I'm sick of it! :***: Stop telling people what their label should be! I'm sick of hearing it- let people choose which group to affiliate themselves with and shut the fuck up! (As you can see, I'm pretty pissed off; if I joined that thread, it would be a shitstorm.) Why do those redpillers/radfems (hell, I'm sure many of the "moderates" think this way too) think that men's and women's rights are incompatible, anyways? That doesn't make any sense.

    That moment, when I call a bookstore to try ordering a book and the sales person recognizes who I am (and even recalls the previous title I bought by the same author) right after me saying the author's name. I think I had one too many conversations with that sales person. :lol:
