    My roommate won't stop looking for English channels on the French TV. Failing that, he's looking for English subtitles.
    Why can't he understand that they won't be there, why can't we just watch some French TV? I can half understand it with subs on, it looks enjoyable. Just stop!

    If only it weren't as widely spoken, then it would probably be the best languages to learn in order to confuse the hell out of whoever tries to deciph - er, translate it.

    I'm not sure about that... the spelling may be irritating as fuck, but if you were trying to translate it with no prior knowledge of english, you'd have two resources, latin and german.

    Roommate who earlier only wanted to watch English TV is annoyed at me for looking around for French subtitles...

    We're watching that movie on gulli, it's a bit weird.
