I'm probably going to smash my phone today. Switching from iPhone to Android was such a terrible decision...

Every once in a while it'll just totally stop receiving texts. I've NEVER had this issue until I had an Android phone. I'll be able to send them, but none will come in. This could last hours or as long as four days. Happens between once a month or as often as multiple times a week. It actually just happened like a week ago, I stopped receiving texts for four days, and then the day before yesterday they all came pouring in, which is how it always happens. It's like they get backed up or clogged and it takes a variable amount of time before am the texts I couldn't receive start coming in.

I had been using a messenger I downloaded from the Play Store because it had quick reply so I could respond without leaving the app I was using, but now I'm back to using the stock messenger.

This morning I was texting someone and everything was fine. As soon as that conversation was over I texted my boyfriend "Good morning" like I always do, and after waiting for 30 minutes for a response I sent a text to myself to make sure my texting was functional and lo and behold, in the five minutes it had been since the last text I'd received, I'd once again stopped receiving texts for no apparent reason.

Also, I've had this phone replaced twice. All three have done this. It's absolutely maddening!

    I hate Android.

It's always been sort of a mini-contest to see who is able to do it.
Obviously this has been the best version of WAYT so far though, so obviously I should start the next one as well :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

My parents have come a long way from their original stance on LGBT people. Genuine ignorance is much better than willfully hating what you don't understand. I'm so proud of those kids.

You might want to contact your provider about that, it's unlikely that the OS is affecting it.

The good news, I don't feel like I am dying today.. The bad news, I'm really sore. I guess that's what you get for being accidentally dehydrated. ..

Went to the State Fair yesterday, and had fun, especially seeing all the animals. Seen the cutest lop-eared bunny on earth, a lot of really cute piglets nursing, some amazing goats. Made me wanna give up eating meat, seeing all these animals, looking into their eyes. So I think I may try.

I'm inclined to think it's Android-related because this NEVER happened with my iPhone. Plus when I called tech support, all they had me so was clear my cache and temporary files, which I can do on my own and always try first when this happens, and then they told me to do a factory reset. I don't want and shouldn't have to do a factory reset once or twice a week just to be able to receive texts, especially when I've tried that one before and my texts still didn't start coming in until the next morning.

    Ugh so frustrated.

So instead of studying for my recuperation exams I find myself lightly stoned and sat alone in an Indian restaurant.

    I'm destined to be a drop-out...
