Well Spain vs The Netherlands just happened. Think that may have messed up my entire bracket:bang:

 

Well, I just remembered that I have a flight on the 25th. This summer certainly isn't going as calmly as I would prefer.

Additionally, my darling sister abruptly decided that she is no longer moving out to SoCal, so I'm going to have to find at least one new roommate by the end of July. If I have to deal with someone else's bullshit next semester, first, I'm going to choke them. Then, I'm going to jump into my car and drive six hours upstate because she is next.

A girl checked me out This means I am potentially attractive to people. We were on a train. I could see her looking out of the corner of my eye. My low self esteem informed me I obviously look really weird, which is why she was looking. Then I looked when she looked away. Except she didn't, and she smiled at me.

The smallest of pleasures. She then had to get off the train, and I'll never see her again. But it's nice to feel attractive occasionally, particularly for someone who's suffered terrible self-image and body issues in the past.

 

LOL for a list of corny jokes made by dads, I saw a picture of a bottle of Caesar's salad dressing stabbed by a knife.

Et tu, Brute? or should I say Et tu, pater? :lol:

Finally sitting and watching my first game of the World Cup. It took me until the 2nd half of Chile vs Australia to get here.

I tend to do something ten times more complicated because it somehow seems easier to me. Such as today. I was eating soup and it was fogging up my glasses so I couldn't see. Instead of taking them off, I ate blindly because I didn't want to deal with having to put them back on later.

 

My tattoo is colored! It looks so badass, but it hurts like a sonuvabitch. I'm going to take extra-good care of it.

Still have allergies and a hoarse voice. I hope I'm back to normal by tomorrow. Antihistamines always take several days to fully kick in for me.

 

One of my friends just came out to me as MtF. They're in an even worse position than I ever was, too. But hey, all power to them!

Ahhhhh Friday the 13th really is evil...

My first girlfriend just broke up with me and now I don't know what to do with my sad, pathetic life...

 

I'm thinking one more day like this and I will just curl up in a ball and cry. Unfortunately tomorrow is going to be even more insane and I am committed to seeing it through so.... Plans for Sunday? Bed, bed, pain meds, bed, and then maybe a nap.

 

That's horrible.

My Friday the 13th wasn't good, either. I got super-stressed in an English oral I had practised for with just over the minimum time, and ended up over the time limit because I went in-depth and didn't get the warning everyone else had (so I may have had marks knocked off). :dry:

Okay, my test timetable has been confirmed. Seven tests, with French, German and Spanish tests (two of each) all occurring on the same two days. I may or may not be inclined to murder.
