    It's just...I go out of my way to be helpful to people and show concern and care about them, and I don't get it back. It's rather emotionally draining.

    It's both friends and family. I've always felt unappreciated, but recently, it's been so much worse.

    it's late. i should pack lunch for tomorrow and then sleep. but this is my favorite time of day, when all is quiet and it's just me and my thoughts. i don't want to sleep, the morning comes all too soon, and then it's off to work again.

    You know, when it comes to your family, you can say something. You can let them know as to how you feel. And, it is totally okay to say it.

    As for your friends, if you feel unappreciated, perhaps its time to make a couple of new friends who will appreciate you can show you that they do care about you too. (*hug*)(*hug*)
