I was at my Grandma's house for Easter and I overheard my mom telling some family members that one of my mentors, he's her friend, told her in strict confidence last week at the vending machines that this summer they want to 'toughen me up' and 'give me an attitude' so that when I start arresting offenders I do it right under pressure--"and no one tell Gage because I don't want him to get worried." Oh mother, you can't keep secrets from me.

If anything, I need less of an attitude. I have no problem at all telling an offender what to do. "PUT YOUR HANDS UP AND GET ON THE FUCKING GROUND, NOW. You're going to jail, sillyhead." That's what I'm going to say when it goes down. I've been practicing so that I get the inflection just right.

 

I'm officially alone

 

I actually managed to get in a good mood today, and I made the mistake of exiting my room and enduring my mother trying to shove religiousness down my throat again.

 

Well...once AGAIN reality proves that us in the Southeastern Conference are just a superior people...not only do we OWN college sports.now we are proving that we OWN pro sports as well.

Who just beat the foreigner in the world's most exclusive and prestigious golf tournament..known as The Masters????

That's right...a guy named Bubba Watson.

Where'd he go to school...that would be The University of Georgia...that would be the Southeastern Conference.

God...is there anything that the SEC doesn't win?

So once again...to all you haters of the SEC..well...you can simply suck it...but then again...you should be used to it...because you always suck when you come up against the SEC...you hear that Oregon? You Hippies.

 

Ugh, I'm having a hard time thinking on account of feeling like throwing up...

 

So today my boyfriend's aunt invited us over to have an Easter dinner. His aunt's family is ridiculously religious so I was beyond nervous to go. I had to be careful about everything I did in order to not freak them out too much and for them to like me. Holy crap I haven't felt so much pressure to be liked in a while!

It all went way better than I expected, though! While they are all super religious, they are apparently trying really hard to be okay with the whole gay thing which is awesome of them. So happy for how things are thing are turning out!

I think my step-mom might suspect I'm not straight. When my dad saw my hair (it's longer than usual) and told me it was time for a haircut, she told him to let me "be free to express himself."

It was just such an odd phrase to use...I don't think I've ever heard her say something like that before, so I'm thinking she might have been hinting at something else...but idk

 

4 hours to download a movie??? wtf??

 

I wonder what I'm suppose to behave like....being a 23 year old and all that...I really don't feel like I'm that old...

 

I know I shouldn't, yet I still do. I just never learn.

 

So finally I get a summer which happened to just be in time of the easter weekend. THANK YOU!!!!

That 3-day holiday was nice. I think now I've sorted everything out.

 

I feel like I'm gonna be sick, my toe hurts a lot right now, and I can't fall back asleep. Wonderful.

 

Applying for jobs is stressful. >_> Taking two 30-45 minute tests just to apply at a gas station? Really?

 

I'm at a spa retreat and we went into this cave that had been converted into a massive wine cellar/bar and got a complementary glass of wine! This place is awesome.
