I'm so nervous for today. Why did I have to stay up so late? I hope I don't feel too tired later.

Holy crap. The TA in charge of my Econ lab started class today with a speech pretty much telling the class that our section had done terrible on the first exam, and if the class didn't shut up and start listening to him they were going to fail.

The lab had been probably my least favorite class. Painful to sit through, I wasn't learning a thing, and the only reason I was going was to make sure I didn't miss a quiz. There are a bunch of immature freshmen in the class, and they drive me and the TA insane. I felt bad for him, honestly.

But the speech actually worked. They shut up for once. I actually learned something. And I wasn't checking my phone every two minutes hoping for class to be over.

It was nice.

 

Would someone kill the power to these damn storms? Oh wait... CRAAAAP!

 

That sounds a lot like my Chemistry class. I feel your pain bro.

 

Tired but this recliner makes it so comfy and listening to Wolf's Rain OST while it's raining is pure win. :sleep:

 

I completely broke down just now. I saw a comedy sketch at my school and one of them was really sad, not at all funny. Brought back memories that I've been struggling with for a long time. All this time, the best thing I could have done was to let it all out.

 

That was an awesome day even though I am so sore and tired now

Last night, my dad and step-mom called everyone into the living room and told us that my grandmother (step-mom' s mom) broke her hip and was in surgery. While in surgery, the doctors found a mass and believe it is a very aggressive bone cancer. They found another mass in her shoulder. The doctor said that only 15% of patients live past 6 months, and the cancer is already so far along that it was the reason she broke her hip (it broke, then she fell. She didn' t fall then break it.)

I feel so..helpless. I feel so bad for my sisters and step-mom too. I didn't know that grandmother very well, I still don't, I see her a few times a year. But they were so close to her (especially my step-mom for obvious reasons.)

My sisters were up all night crying. I wish this wasn't happening.

I am going to go see her in the hospital later today. I hope everyone can be strong for her. She doesn't even know that we know, her doctor told my parents while she was still under anesthesia.

 

I'm so sorry man. (*hug*). That's terrible. Your grandma is in my thoughts.
