What Are You Thinking?

I've gone from a low to high today, think I'm getting back to normal now...

 

Ah, the ultimate dilemma. To stay in bed, or to get dressed and go out for breakfast with family... It's a difficult decision because my hatred of all things egg limits my food options at pretty much every breakfast place. Would I like pancakes or waffles? This morning, neither.

I'm staying in bed. ^_^

A dog rammed his head into the side of my face yesterday, and I STILL can't taste with the right side of my tongue for some reason. Everything tastes like tin. This sucks. =(

 

Is it worth going trick or treating?

 

I am so glad I have nothing to do today. Sleeping in, nothing to do. Simply amazing

 

Yessss. Trick or treat as much as you can before you're old enough for it to be weird!

Also, damn. My second job is ridiculously easy. One of the job descriptions is "sit at desk, don't fall asleep" and I am so tired that I am failing at even that. ;_;

Wow! Got an assignment back that I didn't think I'd done well on, and I got a High Distinction!

There was a black cat stalking me from my window. I was just sitting at the table in the kitchen with my computer, I turn left, and it's just sitting there outside the door, staring at me through the window. What. The. Fuck.

A friend of mine was in an industrial accident a few weeks back. His diagnosis was extremely grim. Paralyzed from the neck down, would be on a respirator for the rest of his life, in a forced coma to try to repair some of the damage.

I went to visit him today. And the progress has been astounding. They removed the respirator on Thursday. He's talking, and sounds completely normal. He has no brain damage other than memory loss of the time around the accident. He can turn his head somewhat, and is already in a breath-controlled wheelchair. Even more amazing, he's starting to move his right hand a little. They hope to have him in a hand-controlled wheelchair by the end of the week.

What am I thinking? A bunch of generic "triumph of the human spirit" stuff.
