I went to see my (best) friend today in the mental hospital…

I love him so much, and miss him like crazy.
    *sigh*
    I can't wait till he's out… and feeling better.

Am I going to regret signing up for this stupid thing again? You would think I would learn after 2 years, but no. And I'll probably sign up next year too.

It's so frustrating. I hate doing it, but I don't want people thinking I'm a quitter.

I've had since 2:00 this afternoon to study for the second largest biology test of the semester. I'm only just opening the books now. Yeah, I'm fucked. Gah, I hate Christmas Break. I get such a groove going where I'm on top of every assignment and every test and it's like a machine, I fire through pages and pages and pages of complex work in a few hours maximum. Christmas break screws up my vibe entirely. It knocks my head into a different space. I return completely complacent for a reason I have never been able to determine. I still have a solid hour and a half before bed to whip through these study notes.. but I know I won't. I'll try, and I might memorize some of the more trivial facts.. but, for the most part, I won't know any more than I did at 2:00 this afternoon. (aka: nothing.)

Try your best! You still have a bit of time to review your notes/text book readings. Take it in small chunks at a time. Divide the readings. After you have read a part, take a short break and then continue reading.

Christmas break can do that. I always had a hard time finding a rhythm for the first week or so back after Christmas break too.

You can do it! You will know more than you did this afternoon. (*hug*)

    This was a triumph.
    I'm making a note here.

    HUGE SUCCESS.

You'll have to tell me what this triumph entails. But at a time when I'm not about to sleep.

How can I ever expect to grow up and be independent if I'm so afraid of responsibility? I've gotten too comfortable with being dependent on others. It's no wonder that everyone treats me like a kid and no one ever really takes me seriously...
